1. Trading Risk#
Trading futures, forex, CFDs and other leveraged products carries a high risk of loss.
- Leverage works both ways. A small move in the market can mean a large loss.
- You can lose more than you deposit.
- Only trade money you can afford to lose.
- Trading is not suitable for everyone. Think about your experience, your goals and your finances before you start, and get independent advice if you are unsure.
2. Education, Not Advice#
Everything daqverse publishes is education and tools. That includes the kill zone clock, the calculators, key levels, the economic calendar, our Discord posts, videos and social posts.
- None of it is financial, investment or trading advice.
- None of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, or to take or skip a trade.
- None of it is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any financial product, or an offer of any investment service.
- A kill zone, a macro window or a level is a time or a price to study, not a signal.
- daqverse is not a broker, an investment adviser or a prop firm, and is not registered as one.
Your trading decisions are yours alone.
3. Performance Figures#
daqverse may show stats, P&L, win rates or example trades: on the site, in the app’s demo, in videos and on social media.
- These are past results. Past results do not guarantee future results.
- They are not typical. Many traders lose money, and your results will be different.
- If we ever show testimonials or other traders’ results, they are not typical either, and they do not show what you will achieve.
- Some examples are illustrative: made up to show how a feature or a concept works. The live demo on the landing page uses sample data, not real trades.
- A prop firm’s evaluation and funded accounts often trade in a simulated environment. Results there can differ from results in a live market.
Hypothetical and simulated results. Some figures are hypothetical or simulated: a backtest, a replay, a demo account, or an example worked out on paper. These have real limits:
- They do not show actual trading. No real money was at risk.
- The trades were never actually placed, so the results may make too much or too little of things like slippage, fees and thin markets (when there are not enough buyers or sellers to fill an order at the price shown).
- They are made with the benefit of hindsight.
- They cannot show the pressure of trading real money, which affects real results.
- No one is saying that any account will, or is likely to, make profits or losses like the ones shown.
The official wording of this caution (CFTC Rule 4.41):
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
4. No Guarantees#
We do not guarantee any result. Not a profit, not a payout, and not that you will pass a prop firm’s evaluation or keep a funded account.
Following a kill zone, a level, a checklist or a plan in daqverse does not make a trade safe or a result likely.
5. Calculators and Estimates#
The drawdown, position size, P&L, risk and R figures, in the free tools and in the app, are estimates.
- They are worked out from the numbers you enter and the data you saved.
- They are not records from your broker or your prop firm, and they are not live account equity.
- They can differ from the real numbers because of missing or wrong entries, fees, rounding, contract details, time zones, or how your firm applies its rules.
Always check balances, limits and payout rules with your broker or firm before you rely on them.
6. Prop Firms and Third Parties#
daqverse names prop firms such as Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, Lucid Trading, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures and Take Profit Trader, so traders can see how the journal tracks their rules.
- daqverse is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these firms.
- Their names, logos and marks belong to them.
- Firms change their rules often. Our prop firm pages show the date we read each firm’s rules on its own site. Always check the firm’s own site before you buy or trade an account.
7. Third-Party Data#
Some of what daqverse shows comes from others: economic calendar times, market levels, news, and the statement files you import from your broker or platform.
- This data can be late, incomplete or wrong.
- An event can move, a level can be off, and a statement can be read wrongly.
- Check anything important against the original source.
8. Information As Is; Liability#
We work to keep our pages, tools and figures right, but we give them “as is” and “as available”, with no promise that they are accurate, complete or up to date.
To the fullest extent the law allows, daqverse is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, the app, the tools, our content or third-party data, or from relying on any of it. That includes trading losses, failed evaluations and denied payouts.
The full wording is in our Terms of Service: Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability. Nothing on this page limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
9. Where You Live#
daqverse, and the products and firms we write about, may not be suitable or available everywhere. Some trading products and some prop firms are restricted or not allowed in some countries. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws and rules where you live.
10. Your Responsibility#
You are responsible for your own trading, your own accounts and your own results. Use daqverse to plan, record and review your trading, not to make decisions for you.
Using daqverse also means you accept our Terms of Service, including its Not Financial Advice section. Questions? Write to contact@daqverse.com.
11. Changes to This Page#
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and the version shown here is the one that applies.
