Lucid Trading · prop firm journal

A trading journal for Lucid Trading accounts

daqverse is a trading journal built for ICT and prop-firm futures traders: it tags every trade with its New York kill zone and tracks each prop account's drawdown rules. Lucid Trading lets you build the account you want: four plans, a daily loss limit you switch on or off at purchase, and a drawdown that locks at your starting balance plus $100 once the account has grown enough. The flexibility is the point, but it also means no two Lucid accounts are quite the same, and the rules you chose at checkout are easy to forget a month later.

Below are Lucid's current rules as its own support site states them, plan by plan, and how daqverse keeps the rules you chose next to the trades on each account: the floor and the point where it locks, the daily limit if you took one, the consistency share and the profit still needed for the next payout.

Rules checked on Lucid Trading’s own site on . Lucid Trading changes its rules often: their site is the one that counts. daqverse is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Lucid Trading.

Lucid Trading rules at a glance

These are Lucid's four public plans: LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily (each with an evaluation) and LucidDirect (straight to a simulated funded account). Invite-only and legacy programs are not covered.

Sizes, targets, max loss and contract limits

Every plan comes in four sizes. The evaluations are a one-time fee with no monthly rebilling and no time limit, and every plan allows the same maximum position. An account with no trade producing at least $1 of net profit or loss in 30 calendar days is closed as abandoned.

End-of-day drawdown that locks at start + $100

LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect trail the max loss limit at the end of the day, in the evaluation and the funded stage. Once the account closes above its 'initial trail balance' ($52,100 on a 50K), the limit locks at the starting balance plus $100 ($50,100). On LucidFlex, requesting a payout also locks it.

LucidDaily is the exception: you pick end-of-day or intraday trailing for the evaluation at checkout, and the funded account always trails intraday, unrealized profit and loss included.

A daily loss limit you choose at checkout

On Pro, Flex and Daily you choose the daily loss limit ON or OFF when you buy, and it cannot be changed on an active account. Every Lucid daily limit is a soft breach: trading stops until the next session, and the account is only lost at the max loss limit. On LucidPro and LucidDirect funded accounts, once the balance is above the initial trail balance, the fixed limit is replaced by 'LucidScale', 60% of the highest end-of-day profit, which never decreases.

  • LucidPro evaluation, when ON: $1,200 (50K), $1,800 (100K), $2,700 (150K).
  • LucidDaily, when ON: $600, $1,200, $1,800 or $2,700, the same in the evaluation and the funded account.

Consistency by plan

Lucid measures consistency as your largest single-day profit divided by the account's profit. LucidFlex and LucidDaily evaluations need 50% or less to pass, and their funded accounts have none. LucidPro has no evaluation consistency rule (it can pass in one day) but asks for 40% or less in each funded payout cycle. LucidDirect asks for 20% or less per payout cycle. Live accounts have no consistency rule.

Payouts

Every plan pays 90/10 with a minimum request of $500. The conditions differ:

  • LucidFlex: five days in the cycle at a minimum profit ($100, $150, $200 or $250 by size), positive net profit in the cycle, no buffer, and up to 50% of profit capped at $1,000 to $3,000. Up to five payouts, then the account moves live.
  • LucidPro: a minimum profit goal per cycle ($250 to $1,000 by size), 40% consistency, and a balance above a buffer equal to the initial max loss plus $100 ($52,100 on a 50K).
  • LucidDaily: payouts can be requested daily for the profit above the same buffer, with positive profit since the last payout. Positions must be flat around high-impact USD news on a funded Daily account: trading it is a hard breach.
  • LucidDirect: a payout profit goal ($3,000 for the first payout on a 50K) and 20% consistency.
  • Pro, Flex and Direct positions must be closed by 4:45 PM EST; a position still open is closed for you without failing the account.

How daqverse tracks a Lucid Trading account

daqverse does not connect to Lucid Trading or your platform. You enter the rules you chose for each account, log or import your trades, and the journal works out the limits. The numbers are estimates; Lucid's dashboard is the official record.

  • A floor that locks at start + $100

Choose end-of-day trailing that stops at the start plus $100, or intraday trailing for a funded LucidDaily account. On LucidFlex, tick that a payout fixes the floor too. The card shows the floor and the headroom after every trade.

  • Your daily limit, ON or OFF

If you bought the account with the daily loss limit ON, enter it and Live Session's loss meter follows it. If you chose OFF, leave it at zero and the account shows no daily limit. When LucidScale takes over, edit the amount.

  • The consistency share for your plan

Set 50% on a Flex or Daily evaluation, 40% on a Pro funded account, 20% on Direct. daqverse shows your best day's share and the total profit needed for it to fit.

  • Payout days and buffers

For Flex, set five payout days at your size's minimum profit. For Pro and Daily, set the withdrawal cushion to the buffer. daqverse counts qualifying days since the last payout and shows what is above the cushion.

  • Every stage kept

When an evaluation passes, advance it: the evaluation is archived with its trades and cost, and the funded account starts fresh with its own rules.

  • News mornings

The Morning Brief counts down to the day's high-impact US releases, which matters most on a funded LucidDaily account.

Questions

Does Lucid Trading have a daily loss limit?

On LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDaily you choose it ON or OFF at purchase, and the choice cannot be changed later. Every Lucid daily loss limit is a soft breach: trading stops for the session, but the account is only lost at the max loss limit.

When does the Lucid trailing drawdown lock?

On Pro, Flex, Daily and Direct the max loss limit locks at the starting balance plus $100 once the account closes above its initial trail balance, for example $50,100 after a 50K account passes $52,100. On LucidFlex a payout request also locks it.

What are Lucid Trading's consistency rules?

Flex and Daily evaluations need a best day of 50% or less of the profit; their funded accounts have none. LucidPro funded accounts need 40% or less per payout cycle, LucidDirect 20%. Live accounts have no consistency rule.

How do Lucid payouts work?

All plans pay 90/10 with a $500 minimum. LucidFlex needs five qualifying days per cycle and pays up to 50% of profit with a cap; LucidPro needs a profit goal, 40% consistency and a buffer; LucidDaily allows daily requests above a buffer.

Can daqverse track a LucidDaily funded account?

Yes. Choose intraday trailing that stops at the start plus $100, enter the daily loss limit if you took it, and set the withdrawal cushion to the buffer. The Morning Brief shows the day's high-impact US news.

Is daqverse affiliated with Lucid Trading?

No. daqverse is an independent trading journal with no connection to Lucid Trading's accounts, and Lucid Trading does not endorse it.
